Here are my 3 favourite items this month – lemon water, the Steven Bartlett podcast, Diary of a CEO and a delicious homemade creamy spinach recipe.
1. Lemon Water and Why I Love It:
Lemon water has gained popularity in recent years due to its numerous health benefits. It is a simple yet refreshing drink that can be easily prepared by squeezing fresh lemon juice into a glass of water. Here’s why I love it:

And if you add your fresh lemon to fizzy water, it can be better than the store-bought version. So too you can add cumber, apple, and mint. the possibilities are endless.

3. Homemade Creamy Spinach Recipe:
If you’re looking for a nutritious and delicious dish, try this homemade creamy spinach recipe.
Here’s how I prepare mine at home.
– Fresh spinach leaves – I prefer baby spinach, they have less of a ‘wild’ taste
– Garlic cloves, minced
– Olive oil or butter – Heavy cream or you can use a white sauce that you make from scratch, that way you can manage the butter and flour that goes into it
– Cheese of your choice
– Salt and pepper to taste
1. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the minced garlic and onion until fragrant and slightly brown
2. Add the spinach leaves and cook until wilted.
3. Pour in the heavy cream or white sauce and simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
4. Sprinkle grated cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
5. Stir well until the cheese is melted and the spinach is coated in the creamy sauce.
6. Serve hot as a side dish or as a main course with your preferred protein.
You can also add some crispy bacon to your dish! It is delicious and oh so good for you.
