When two worlds collide, it’s like nothing can stop these worlds from entwining, and somehow, as time goes by, you want this to stop, but you actually can’t, for it has only just begun…
For a while now, I have been thinking about the idea of “holding space for someone. ” Choosing to love someone through their hardships and trials is a prolonged season that just doesn’t seem to have an ending, but in this process, you learn to love, you cultivate patience, you see someone’s need to belong and be accepted, and you realize the true meaning of unconditional love.
You learn to be that person’s safe space and constant, and as much as you at times feel like you need reciprocation, you are okay with what that person is able and capable of giving right now, for you know, eventually, what you have been sowing will reap one day soon.
Are you able to hold space for someone? Or are you still struggling with needing to be held yourself?
All my love,
Zen
