Though weeping may endure for the night, joy comes in the morning. After a while the scars heal and we love again. Nothing hurts more than hopes differed.

The “ember” months have a way of making us wonder if the goals we had set to accomplish at the beginning of the year will ever come to pass. You find yourself wondering and second guessing your choices and the life that you are living. Will my dreams ever come true?

Will I see the fruits of the seeds I have so

Laboriously toiled?

Take heart, the ending of a year does not signify the ending of dreams and hopes. If you weren’t able to attain your hearts desires now, there is still time. Dreams delayed are not dreams forgotten. Continue to set new achievable goals, continue to dream of the things your heart desires, continue to write new hopes.

What’s the worst that could happen? That they don’t come true? That they get shattered? That you find yourself in a place of unbelief and self doubt?

It’s ok… all these situations will bring about lessons and skills that will take you one step closer to what you want to achieve. All though you may feel like giving up, keep pushing, you are running your own race, there is no competition with anyone one else. Run according to your own pace and celebrate the wins that you get each day, especially the little ones. It’s not the end, it’s actually just the beginning. May October be good to you, may you take the time to enjoy each day and intentionally live your life with a passionate desire to see transformation.

“I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.”

Psalms 37:25 NKJV
