I’m not a mother yet, but I’ve been doing a deep dive into hormonal health, pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, and early childhood development over the last few years.

I’m absolutely horrified at the amount of children who are diagnosed with attention deficit disorders or who are punished at school or at home for being ‘naughty’, when most of this behavior is linked to what parents are feeding their kids. I’ve also seen very influential social media profiles popping up of moms who are sharing what they’re packing into their kids’ lunchboxes, so I thought I’d share some more wholesome ideas.

The foods children eat directly impact on their development, physical, mental and emotional well-being, and I cannot stress enough how important it is to learn to nourish your body and focus on optimal health from a young age.

Children can be fussy or may have food allergies, and guardians may have budget or time constraints, but here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing. You can also mix & match different options.
