Raquel always looks exceptional! From one day to the next she goes from dressed up to dressed down! No matter how she’s dressed, something is always eye-catching: shoes or hair or exercise gear!
I look up to her for a lot of things, and style is definitely one of them!

My style Icon – Raquel

What is your mantra in life?
Always keep things simple and always be true to yourself.

Who is your style icon?
I don’t have one.

How do you put a look together?
I pick one main piece like a pair of jeans and then I build my outfit from there.

Should your handbag and shoes match?
No, definitely not. I mostly wear one handbag and swop them every few months. Have you felt how heavy my bag is?? My bag contains all my ~stuff~ so I can’t swop and change bags every day!

How long does it take you to get dressed?
It takes me about 15 minutes. Getting dressed should be easy! By the time I get to my wardrobe I already know what I want to wear.

What are ‘must have’ clothing items?
I would say a comfortable pair of jeans, a sexy dress, a jumpsuit (I love my jumpsuits!), a statement top, and comfortable takkies.

How many pairs of shoes do you have?
I have no idea, I’ve lost count. I have loooots

What three things do you always have in your handbag?
My favourite lipstick, my wallet and my cell phone.

Which do you prefer – heels or flats? Dress up or down?
Definitely flats and dressing down.
